This course is perfect for the PB chasing athlete and the new comer. We saw a lot of clubs double their number of Middle Distance Athletes in just 1 day! So come and try us out. Entries are limited to 750 and places will go fast! So ENTER NOW to secure your place. Race HQ will be at The King’s School Ely, Cambridgeshire. A full Hog Roast will be waiting at the finish line for you. On-site camping available. A new improved pasta party and the stack loads of atmosphere we all enjoyed in 2011! Registration will be open from 4pm on the Saturday, closing at 7pm. To ensure the race starts promptly, there will be no registration on Sunday. Saturday is your only chance! |

Camping is available on site, with use of the toilets. To camp then please email us for more details, all we ask is for a donation to our designated charity, CamSAR (Cambridge Search & Rescue). Sorry but no BBQ’s, any breach will jeopardise future events. BBQ = DQ from race and you will be asked to leave the venue. Be careful when using camping stoves, raise them off the ground. Extra loos will be provided next to the camping area. |

This year we will be operating a Wave Start (final numbers to be confirmed), however there will be an Elite section at the front of the pack. The first 50 people to enter with proof of a sub 29 minute open water swim over the 1.9km distance in 2011 will form the Elite section. Email enquiries@monsterracing.net following general entry with proof of performance and we will confirm your slot (details will be verified). |

To ensure that the safety of all athletes we are required to place cut off times for all three disciplines which are based on a running clock from the start of the swim. The cut off times are as specified below. Athletes falling outside of the running clock times at the conclusion of each discipline may be requested to withdraw from the race for logistical and safety reasons. |

Transport to the swim start will be under your own steam this year. Registration and racking will be the day before to give you plenty of time to make your way to the start. This is a 20 minute or so walk, so please allow enough time. There will be no buses laid on! The walk will losen you up and enable you to view the stunning river swim course you are about to embark on. |
